Byblos Mediterranean Cafe opened in April 2010 with a goal to share real Lebanese cooking in downtown Syracuse. The recipes come from family traditions passed down through generations. Each dish is made from scratch, using fresh ingredients and simple methods. It’s a place built on tradition, care, and a love for real Mediterranean food.

Inspired by the City of Byblos

The name comes from the ancient city of Byblos in Lebanon—one of the oldest cities in the world. Our name pays homage to one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world—founded around 5000 BC. Just like its rich history, our food tells a story of tradition, culture, and timeless taste.
